Easter weekend is upon us. Today is going to be a very busy day. More campers are coming in. No reservation sites are available and more and more campers are dispersed camping along the beaches. Preparation is being made for out annual Easter Egg Hunt so we are expecting quite a big outcome. This was yesterday evening. The moon is full and all is quiet so far. Views overlooking C Loop from B Loop. My RV is the one on the far right.

I guess the summer season is started. RV's of all kinds are starting to fill up around the beach. All the reservation sites in the park are full for the weekend and the weekend hasn't even got here yet. By mid summer the shore line won't even be visible from this view for all the RV's parked end to end and two or three rows. Below is a view of Lions Beach campground from the lake.
Today was a busy day but I was able to get my booster antenna and weather station reinstalled.  But later in the day a water leak occured in my rooftop evaporative cooler and had to remove the water source until I can get a replacement. All my sites are full again and will be for a couple of weeks. So if anyone comes in they will have to campout near the beach or in the desert.
My friend Dana left this morning headed West. Always look forward to her visits here at the park. Today was a fairly decend day as far as the weather but right now the wind is causing havac here. My cell booster antenna was blown off the roof of my RV and my weather station sensor is now on the ground instead of my roof. Hopefully it will be calm enough tomorrow so I can reinstall those items. I’ll have to find a way to stableize them both so this doesn't happen again.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. My name is Billy and I have been living full time in my RV a few years now and presently volunteering as a camp host for The New Mexico State Parks. Volunteering my hours has many benefits. This not only includes a free site with amenities, but a chance to meet many new friends.  My home is a 2000 36’ Winnebago Adventurer and I am constantly upgrading and adding new equipment to my RV. When I’m not volunteering, I spend my time traveling and boondocking around the state. I’m new at this blogging thing so I’ll learn by doing. With a little help from friends I should be able to get better and improve my blog.
