Lions Beach Campground

There is plenty of Dispersed Camping along the beaches. Just beware of the soft sandy areas if pulling in a large RV. The possibility of getting stuck in the sand is very high.

Plenty of hard sand areas for parking, just look out for the soft sand drifts.

Another view of the lake from my site.

A view of the lake from the north end of Ridge Road camp sites.

I enjoy having my morning coffee admiring the sun rise from my site.

Dispersed camping on the beach and desert areas are very popular during the warm seasons.

A camper observing the view of the lake from the end of Ridge Road.

Rocky the roadrunner. It comes out and joins me every morning when I am having my morning coffee.

There is also a lot of quail that like to join in with guest of the park as seen here at C Loop campgrounds.

 More Quail.

A view of Rattlesnake Island. When the water level is low enough you can drive over to the island for more dispersed camping.

Sun rise on an overcast morning.

There is also a lot of rocky terrain at the lake.
